Hello. I’m Skylar Acamesis, Director at PandoraStar. Thank you for joining us from the other video, where we were talking about fake control versus real control. In this video, I’m going to explain how to use PandoraStar to help you with your control issues. We talked about, in the first video, one of the main issues around control being overwhelmed, or taking on too much, or overcomplicate things, and to keep things really simple, we’re only recommending one program at the moment for working with control issues, and it’s one of my favourite ones that our programmer, Lance Carter, created. It’s called “Calm Me”. Its length is 22 minutes, and literally, it works on a really lovely alpha theta frequency, so it’s going to help you really calm down. If you haven’t noticed, when we feel out of control, the first thing that happens is the tempers get the better of us or we become really hurt or really sad, and we tend to feel out of control. So normally, we need reassurance. We need to be calmed. We need that hug. So what I’m going to recommend that you do if you feel out of control is for you to lie yourself down underneath Pandora, choose Calm Me, pop it on, and let it run for its 22 minutes. As you let it run, what I’m going to recommend that you do is you pop both your hands on the outsides of your arms and run them up and down, kind of like you’re giving yourself a hug. By doing this, you’re going to be regulating the limbic system of your brain. You’re going to be calming yourself down and teaching yourself what’s called neural regulation. When we go through a lot of stressful experiences in our life, we sometimes lose the ability to regulate our emotional responses, and that’s how we feel overwhelmed, so when you lie down underneath Pandora and you gently stroke your arms up and down, you’re teaching your brain how to regulate your emotions, and you’re creating an extra wave of endorphins. So Calm Me will help you by creating more endorphins already, and it’s going to give you an amazing, really soft, sacred geometric colours and shapes inside your vision, but when you run your hands up and down your arms, you’re going to give yourself an extra wave of endorphins and an extra level of stimulation. So when you just look at somebody, literally you light up about 4,000 neurons in the brain, but when you touch somebody, you light up about 9,000 neurons in the brain, and the same goes for you touching your own arms. Literally, it lights up more neurons in the brain, so it helps you to regulate your emotions faster, and it helps you to feel in control faster, and it’s also teaching your mind that when you face challenges in life, you can do hard things, that you do have what it takes to overcome difficult situations and regain control. But you need to be calm in order to do that. You need to be in a state of mind where you feel resourceful and resilient in order to be able to tackle challenges, and the first step of that is to calm down, to quiet your intellect, to turn within, and Calm Me is one of the best programs to help you achieve that.
