Are you ready to hear the top three reasons why people don’t heal?
In this Two-Part Video Series created by Sky Acamesis, Sky discusses the 3 main reasons why we fail to heal and get stuck in the same pattern with an overwhelming fear we will never get better. In part two she shows a simple technique using the PandoraStar Brainwave Entrainment Device to start the healing process, feel better and “Happy” once again!
Are you ready to hear the top three reasons why people don’t heal? Stick with me.
Hi everyone. I’m Sky Acamesis. I’m one of the directors at PandoraStar. This little video is about why people don’t heal.
This is a question that I get a lot. The answer is always the same three things. We’re going to take a few minutes and just go through them step by step. Hopefully, this will let you get a lot more clarity around what it is that you’re doing that’s keeping you stuck in the same pattern.
If you’re wondering why you’re not healing, the number one thing that happens, whether we’re dealing with poverty, or we’re dealing with a physical illness, or we’re dealing with mental health, is that we get really scared. We freak out. We panic. We worry that it’s never going to get better.
Then this fear that we’re never going to get better makes us switch from different practice to different practice to different practice. We have no consistency. We might try a vitamin for a week. We might try yoga for a week. We might try meditation for another week.
Then we’re like, we’ve tried everything and nothing’s worked. Without consistency, it doesn’t give your body and your mind the time to catch up with what it is that you’re trying to accomplish.
So the first thing to change is that I need to connect to whatever path that I’m taking. There’s more than one way to get healthy. There isn’t only one way. There are many ways to get healthy. The trick is, regular, consistent action.
Give yourself at least a month. Normally when I’m working with clients, I recommend three months of doing the same thing, the same practice every day, to get the best, longer-terms permanent results.
Sometimes, it can take six months to a year, if you’re looking at a long-term illness or a long-term mental health problem if you’ve had it for years and years. Sometimes it can take about six months. Consistency is key, and it’s one of the biggest reasons why we don’t heal.
It’s not that you’re doing the wrong thing. It’s that you’re not doing one thing consistently enough because of the panic inside yourself.
The second reason why people don’t heal is because they don’t realize that everything that’s unhealed in us also comes from unhealthy habits. Unhealthy habits require healthy habits to replace them.
If you’re moving into health, it’s not just about deciding to be healthier. It’s then about getting organized and making sure that you have the right shopping list when you go to the supermarket. It’s about making sure that you know the restaurants in town where you can eat when you’re out with your friends. It’s about making sure that you do have healthy snacks inside your bag.
If it’s around mental health, it’s about making sure that you are meditating for half an hour a day.
You literally need to sit down, get out a piece of paper and a pen, and write down what new habits do I need to cultivate and practice consistently in order to support the healing that I’m looking for.
Last but not least, a lot of people say that they’re not healing. They don’t understand growth.
Our subconscious mind needs to grow. Anthony Robbins is always saying, “If you’re not growing, it’s because you’re dying.” And we really need to grow. Often, in life, particularly in adult life, days can become very very similar. One day after the other after the other. We don’t get any growth. There’s no variety. There’s no change. We’re just doing the same thing over and over and over again.
Then, suddenly, when we’re not well, we suddenly have to grow. We have to learn new things. We have to try new strategies. We’re challenged for the first time in years.
So you need to set yourself a big enough growth experience so that your subconscious mind knows that once you hit your target, you’re going to keep growing.
Let’s say your target is to get out of debt, for example. You need to set yourself a target of making a hundred thousand or a million or whatever is at least a hundred thousand above your normal target because you’re not going to get out of bed in the morning just to get out of debt.
It’s the same thing with being sick. Your target can’t be just to get healthy. Your target has to be something like being able to run a marathon or swim across the river or be able to ride your bike again. Unless you have something bigger, it’s not going to motivate you to do the hard work that it takes to be consistent and to get toward where you need to go.
If your subconscious mind knows that when you get to the goal… Let’s say you pay off all your debts. You’re just going to do the same thing again and you’re going to stop growing and you’re going to go back to your old habits. You’re always going to be just a little bit away from succeeding and getting to your habits.
So always add growth to your goals. Make sure there’s space to grow. Make sure that you have your goal, and then you add at least 60% dream for growth.
If it’s health you want to put in, I want to be able to do yoga or cycle or run a marathon. If it’s mental health, it’s I want to be able to be at peace as I go about my day, for a week or two days or a month. Whatever is sustainable for you. But you want that goal to create growth for you permanently.
Once you achieve that goal, you want to immediately set another goal for growth. You want to never allow yourself to stagnate because the mind’s very good at creating problems so that we will start growing again, especially when we get into this monotonous, boring pattern.
So if you would like to see how you can break these patterns and get yourself to another healing state and how these three steps that I’ve just clarified with you relate to PandoraStar, just click the video above, and I’ll see you at the next video.
